FOR ALL AGES
At Kidadl we pride ourselves on offering families original ideas to make the most of time spent together at home or out and about, wherever you are in the world. We strive to recommend the very best things that are suggested by our community and are things we would do ourselves - our aim is to be the trusted friend to parents.
We try our very best, but cannot guarantee perfection. We will always aim to give you accurate information at the date of publication - however, information does change, so it’s important you do your own research, double-check and make the decision that is right for your family.
Kidadl provides inspiration to entertain and educate your children. We recognise that not all activities and ideas are appropriate and suitable for all children and families or in all circumstances. Our recommended activities are based on age but these are a guide. We recommend that these ideas are used as inspiration, that ideas are undertaken with appropriate adult supervision, and that each adult uses their own discretion and knowledge of their children to consider the safety and suitability.
Kidadl cannot accept liability for the execution of these ideas, and parental supervision is advised at all times, as safety is paramount. Anyone using the information provided by Kidadl does so at their own risk and we can not accept liability if things go wrong.
This day is celebrated across the USA.
This day is mainly celebrated by the families of police officers and victims who want to thank them for their service.
The National Day Of Prayer For Law Enforcement Officers started in 2011.
This day was started by the group named 'Wives Behind The Badge, Inc.'.
Law enforcement officers put their lives on line every day for their duty where they face horrifying events like bomb blasts, gunfire, and other tragedies which take a lot of time to get over. The other officers who go through a similar emotional strain become their support system.
That is why in 2011 'Wives Behind The Badge, Inc.' came together on the third Friday of June with people of all faiths, victims, and their families to pray for the safety, almighty protection, and peace of mind for these officers.
Every year on this day, the group, 'Wives Behind The Badge, Inc.' gathers people from all backgrounds and faiths to pray to God and support law enforcement officers.
A little contribution of praying could make a lot of difference. On the third Friday of each June every year, support law enforcement officers from wherever you are. Pray in your own room or join a group or gathering at places like the Church, parks, or city hall. No matter what your faith is, pray for the officers who provide you a sense of safety and protection. Pray to God to give courage to these officers who risk their lives every day for you.
This day was started by a group called 'Wives Behind The Badge, Inc..
This day makes you realize the importance of law enforcement officers and their courage that saves you from danger.
