The Grand London Bike Tour will show you all of London’s great monuments as well some sights you may have otherwise missed!

On your guided bike adventure around the city, you will visit all the most recognisable sights like Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade, Big Ben, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Benjamin Franklin’s Residence, Covent Garden and the Millennium Wobbly Bridge, which Potter fans will know as Brockdale Bridge from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

As you explore the capital on two wheels, search for spies as you pass MI5, spot the world’s smallest police station, and see where JK Rowling got her Hogwarts inspiration from as you wheel past Westminster School.

The brilliant bicycle tour will also take you across the River Thames to the Leake Street tunnel, also known as the Banksy Tunnel, which is one of the capital’s coolest art spots and largest legal wall for street art.

What to know before you go

• The tour starts at 10.30am from in front of the shop Whistle Stop, which is located outside the entrance to train platforms 1 and 2 inside Waterloo railway station.
• Arrive 15 minutes before your starting time. Latecomers will not be accommodated on the tour.
• On arrival, please show your smartphone ticket to your guide at the meeting point.
• Your ticket includes a comfortable bicycle, helmet, rain poncho and an expert English-speaking guide.
• The ticket does not include admission to any sites or attractions.
• The duration of the tour is three and a half hours long.
• Children must be eight years old and above to join this tour. There are child rates for those aged 8-17.
• There are concessionary tickets available for students. Please bring a valid proof of student ID with you.
• You are required to have a reasonable fitness level, and you must be a competent cyclist.
• There is a 20-minute break in Covent Garden where you can grab a snack and have a rest.
• After your sightseeing bike tour, enjoy some lunch at the Southbank. It has a variety of family-friendly restaurants, including Gourmet Pizza Company, Cote Brasserie, Honest Burgers, Wahaca, Giraffe, Le Pain Quotidien, Ping Pong, Nando’s and Pizza Express.

Getting there

• Waterloo railway station and Tube is served by South Western Railway and the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Northern and Waterloo & City lines. Waterloo East is served by Southeastern trains.
• Bus routes 1, 26, 68, 76, 77, 139, 168, 172, 211, 243 and 341 stop at Waterloo station.
• If you are coming by car, Waterloo car park is situated on York Road. There is also parking at the National Theatre, charging £2.50 an hour if you book online in advance.
