Every creature in the animal kingdom is recognized for its unique abilities and prowess. Here, we introduce you to a skunk that has one such distinct ability.

The skunk is a type of New World mammal that is best known for secreting a foul scent. They secrete this foul-smelling odor in order to protect themselves from predators.

They are a part of the Musteloidea superfamily and Mephitidae family. They are predominantly found in northern Mexico, southern Canada, and the United States.

They are generally found in places like that of a forest, desert, woodland and grassland. They are omnivores and hence feed on small insects and rodents like beetles, grasshoppers, crickets, rats and mice.

Some common species of a skunk include the striped hog-nosed skunk, stink badger, Molina’s hog-nosed skunk and Spotted spunk. The following is a skunk spraying coloring pages resource, which the kids would love to color.

In the free printable picture, we see that a little skunk is playing mischief on someone by spraying his foul-smelling scent. The picture would give kids an insight into the mindset of a skunk.
