It is known to have a similar appearance to an English foxhound. It is known to have rounded, pendant and low-hanging ears. The coat of this breed is short and hard.

The tail of this dog is known to be of medium length and is carried high instead of keeping it curled at back. The muzzle is strong and square and the skull is broad. The eyes of this dog are hazel or brown in color.
