The Labrador Retriever originated in Canada, where it was developed for hunting and retrieving before becoming well-known as a guiding dog. The Labrador Retriever is usually regarded as one of America's most popular canines. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was bred for hunting.

The Labrastaff can have a litter once a year. More frequent breeding is not good for its health.

These dogs are plentiful and their conservation is not a high priority at the moment and therefore the conservation status of the Labrastaff has not been evaluated under the International Union of Conservation Nature Red List.

What do Labrastaffs look like?

Though there is little information known regarding the look of the mix Labrastaff, the appearance of the cross breeds' parents can be considered. The Labrador's head will be wide, and its body will be strong and athletic.

The Lab has strong jaws and a broad snout, and their eyes can be brown, golden brown, or hazel. Pendant-shaped ears will dangle from its head, and its tail will be thick at the base and tapering at the end, allowing it to assist the dog when swimming.

The American Staffordshire terrier breed is muscular. The breed's dogs look to be robust and stocky, with powerful jaws, a wide chest, and a hefty neck.

The breed's ears are high on his head, and his eyes are black and round. The breed may be seen in all colors and with a variety of markings such as masks, points, spots, and patches.
