The Eudimorphodon, also referred to as the Eudimorphodon ranzii, from the family Eudimorphodontidae used to inhabit present-day Europe and fossil remains were found in the town of Cene, near Bergamo, Italy.
The habitat of this dinosaur is thought to be the shores of western Europe. It is unknown if it lived in a group or was a solitary creature.
Reproduction of this pterosaur happened sexually where the male used to deposit sperm inside the female and then the female used to lay eggs that were fertilized and contained embryos that were developing.

The upper jaw had four and the lower jaw had two fangs. They also had smaller multi-pointed teeth. There were 25 teeth in the upper jaw and 26 teeth in the upper jaw.
They mostly had five cusps compared to other pterosaurs who had single-cusped teeth. This small pterosaur had a long bony tail and at the end, a diamond-shaped flap which might have helped steering in the air.
The Eudimorphodon diet was piscivorous, meaning its food consisted of fish. In fossil remains, content found in the stomach was fish from the Parapholidophorus genus.
The name is known to mean 'true dimorphic tooth' in Greek and it is known to be one of the oldest pterosaur and is known to have existed in the Late Triassic, the mid to late Norian stage.
This pterosaur was described by Rocco Zambelli in 1973. A lot of other types were recognized, but then later reassigned to another genus like Carniadactylus or were made a separate genus like E. cromptonellus, and E. rosenfeldi.
