Fukuititan facts give information about these sauropod dinosaurs.

The discovery of the Fukuititan specimen revealed a lot. This dinosaur was named based on the location the specimen was found (Titan from Fukui prefecture) and the type ‬'F. nipponensis' means ‘from Japan’. 125 million years ago these dinosaurs inhabited the island, falling within the early cretaceous age.

Fukuititan nipponensis was a type of sauropod but smaller than its cousins. Based on this classification, it was regarded as a herbivore. To access plants, these dinosaurs evolved with long necks. Only one specimen has been discovered, based on which the characteristics of this dinosaur were ascribed by researchers.
