Zapsalis abradens are extinct reptiles that belong to the genus of Dromaeosaurine. The fossils were recovered from the Dinosaur Park Formation in Canada, the Judith River in Montana, and Wyoming.

The name 'Zapsalis abradens' was given by Edward Drinker Cope in 1876 based on the teeth he found in Montana. The teeth of the Zapsalis found in the Dinosaur Park Formation represented the premaxillary tooth of the Saurornitholestes Langstoni and also described the complete skull of the dinosaur.
