We are always curious to learn about the various different traditions and cultures that exist in several countries. Here, we introduce you to one such unique day, which is celebrated in Mexico.

The Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos is a day which is dedicated to celebrating the occasion of both life and death.


It originated in Mexico but is also widely celebrated in Latin America as well. It is believed that on this day, the departed come back to life in order to meet with their families and bless them with prosperity.

It is generally celebrated with a bunch of colorfully painted skulls and skeletons. People even color their faces and wear masks of various animals of the animal kingdom.
