Why Blue Dragons Names?
Dragons with blue-white scales and the ability to breathe frost or arcane magic make up the Blue Dragonflight. During the titan Norgannon's ordering of Azeroth, he bestowed Malygos and his flight with control over the arcane and ensured it was never misused.
During the War of the Ancients, the deranged Deathwing used the Demon Soul to wipe out most of the blue flight, leaving just Malygos and a handful of eggs as survivors. Malygos felt physically and emotionally drained after what happened.
Over the millennia, the flight gradually recovered. Still, it was almost derailed when the ambitious young dragons Kalecgos and Tyrygosa tried to awaken Malygos from his coma.
